ThunderCats go down fighting!

The Rocklin ThunderCats didn't have much left after an emotional victory over Goleta Thunder, but they never gave up facing SoCal powerhouse Navajo. On paper the ThunderCats were blown out, by a lot, but in our hearts and minds, they had won. What did they win you might ask... Respect!!
When it was all said and done, the ThunderCats were the only team from Northern California and the only non Southern California team in the tournament. Cassie Rodgers with GSSA (Greater Sacramento Softball Assoication) delivered some great news to the girls after the heartbreaking loss, a 9th place Nationals finish and #1 in Nothern California. Great job girls!!
Girls, Thanks for the memories! You ladies Rock!
Coaches, where do I start? Where did the last 3 1/2 months go? WOW!! My hat is off to all of you... Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. You guys (and gals) are truely a great team!! Again, Thank you for everything!
To all of you who followed us on this ride, thanks for enjoying all the memories with us. It truley was one heck of a ride!
Here they are!!
Your 2008 Rocklin ThunderCats

Congrats to you all for a job well done.

Kolie - We are very proud of you. You should be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished.

Wayne - I didn't make it...I don't even think I made it to the bottom of the 1st :( Thank you so much for making it possible for all of us to "watch" the games. That was awesome. You are awesome. Maybe you can figure out how to set up a web cam so we can really watch the games.

Tricia - I am looking forward to the pictures. Oh how I do miss the Vegas heat :)

Congratulations 10U ThunderCats. You are an amazing, talented team! I have been watching you at practice, seeing your drive, strong work/practice ethic, desire and strong TEAM camaraderie. The strength of your TEAM showed then and has shown to the end. The good thing is that this is not the end but just the beginning. I know we'll be seeing great things out of each and every one of you girls. Monica and I wanted to get to at least one of your games but game schedules and hotel distance kept us from getting there. See all of you back in Rocklin. Congratulations to the coaching and managaing staff (as well as the parents)!

Coaches Sal and Terri,
